NFL Playoff Bracket Picture 2025, Week 16 Wild Card Hunt, Standings, Super Bowl Odds

Erik BeastonDec 15, 2025

Who will end up where in the 2025 NFL playoff picture remains anyone's guess but after a Week 15 of high-stakes games, we have our first two teams to clinch a spot in the dance.

The Rams earned their way to the postseason Sunday with a convincing victory over the Detroit Lions while the Denver Broncos bested Green Bay to cash their ticket there.

Who else currently occupies the other spots in the tournament for a trip to Super Bowl LX and a chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy and who has the greatest odds to do just that?

Find out with this look at the postseason picture.

Division Leaders

1. x-Los Angeles Rams (11-3, NFC West; +320 odds to win the Super Bowl)

2. Chicago Bears (10-4, NFC North; +3000)

3. Philadelphia Eagles (9-5, NFC East; +1100)

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-7, NFC South; +7000)

The Los Angeles Rams passed one of their toughest tests to date this season, overcoming a 10-point deficit against Detroit to rally and win, 41-34. Matthew Stafford passed for 368 yards, with two touchdowns and a rare interception, while Puka Nacua took over the game, catching nine balls for 181 yards. Kyren Williams' two touchdowns on the ground allowed the team to control the pace and pick up a win over a desperate Lions squad.

Wild Card Teams

5. Seattle Seahawks (11-3; +600)

6. San Francisco 49ers (10-4; +2200)

7. Green Bay Packers (9-4-1; +1400)

The 49ers may be the most underrated, underappreciated team in the postseason picture at 10-4. Through injuries to key players and a dispute with wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk that has kept him off the field, the team has persevered, continuing to win and setting itself up to play spoiler in the postseason. Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey have been here before and will almost certainly beat an excellent team early in the playoffs.

In the Hunt

8. Detroit Lions (8-6; +3000)

9. Carolina Panthers (7-7; +25000)

10. Dallas Cowboys (6-7-1; +25000)

The Detroit Lions' playoff chances are shrinking following Sunday's loss, in which the team's defense was once again exploited, this time for 519 total yards, despite a first-quarter interception from Aiden Hutchinson. It will not get easier from here for Dan Campbell's group, which faces Pittsburgh and division foes Minnesota and Chicago from here.

Eliminated

11. Minnesota Vikings (6-8)

12. Atlanta Falcons (5-9)

13. New Orleans Saints (4-10)

14. Washington Commanders (4-10)

15. Arizona Cardinals (3-11)

16. New York Giants (2-12)

Division Leaders

1. x-Denver Broncos (12-2, AFC West; +800)

2. New England Patriots (11-3, AFC East; +1400)

3. Jacksonville Jaguars (10-4, AFC South; +1600)

4. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6, AFC North; +9000)

The Jacksonville Jaguars continued to prove doubters wrong Sunday, hanging 48 points on the hapless New York Jets and strengthening their grasp on the AFC South division. The first season under head coach Liam Cohen has seen the team win in every facet of the game, with Trevor Lawrence stepping up Sunday and tossing five touchdowns. Their biggest test of the season comes Sunday against the No. 1-seeded Denver Broncos. A win and they confirm their contendership or, potentially, yield control of the division to Houston.

Wild Card Teams

5. Los Angeles Chargers (10-4; +2500)

6. Buffalo Bills (10-4; +900)

7. Houston Texans (9-5; +1100)

The Bills continued their recent string of come-from-behind victories Sunday, defeating the New England Patriots and keeping their hopes of winning the AFC East alive. Josh Allen was held to under 200 yards through the air but threw for three touchdowns while rushing for 48 yards on the ground. While it will be difficult to seize control of the AFC East, Allen and Co. look like a sure thing for the postseason and that is a bad thing for the rest of the playoff squads considering the momentum Buffalo has at this point.

In the Hunt

8. Indianapolis Colts (8-6; +25000)

9. Baltimore Ravens (7-7; +2200)

10. Miami Dolphins (6-7; +100000)

Philip Rivers exceeded expectations for Indianapolis Sunday, completing 18 of 27 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. It was not enough to defeat an excellent Seahawks team but the two-point loss should have Colts fans thinking a playoff berth is not out of the realm of possibility just yet, even tough slate against San Francisco, Jacksonville, and Houston will make it a long shot.

Eliminated

11. Kansas City Chiefs (6-8)

12. Cincinnati Bengals (4-10)

13. New York Jets (3-11)

14. Cleveland Browns (3-11)

15. Tennessee Titans (2-12)

16. Las Vegas Raiders (2-12)
