Dak, Cowboys Called Out By NFL Fans as Playoff Hopes Dwindle After Loss to Vikings
The Dallas Cowboys will need a miracle to make the playoffs after another loss.
The Cowboys' postseason hopes were already dim heading into Sunday's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, but a 34-26 loss means that Dallas' chances of reaching the playoffs are slim to none.
The loss mirrored that of most of the Cowboys' losses this year as the defense crumbled, even against a subpar offense, and Dallas' offense couldn't make up for it.
After the loss, fans called out the Cowboys for yet another poor effort.
Dallas dropped to 6-7-1 with the loss and can still technically make the playoffs, but it would take a lot. The Cowboys would need the 9-5 Philadelphia Eagles, who are in first place in the NFC East, to lose their final three games, while Dallas would need to win against the Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Commanders and New York Giants.
According to The Athletic's playoff simulator, Dallas has just a one percent chance to make the playoffs after the loss.
With the way they looked on Sunday, it's hard to imagine the Cowboys will be able to overcome those odds.
