Packers' Christian Watson Released From Hospital After Examination of Chest Injury
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson traveled home with the team after being examined at a hospital for a chest injury suffered in the team's loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, and reportedly avoided a significant injury.

Watson suffered the injury in the third quarter while trying to make a play on a deep pass from Jordan Love. He went up for the ball and came down hard on his shoulder as Denver's Pat Surtain intercepted the pass. He had three receptions for 29 yards before exiting the game.
Watson's 2025 season didn't begin until late October since he was on the physically unable to perform list as he worked his way back from a torn ACL. Despite missing the first part of the season, he is the team's third-leading receiver with 452 yards and five touchdowns on 25 receptions.
"Since Christian's been back from his rehab, he's done some great things and been that explosive playmaker that we needed," Love told reporters on Sunday. "With him going out, I think we still got plenty of depth in that receiver room and other guys that played plenty of ball and can step up and make plays. I think we'll have no problem filling that void if he's got to miss time."
Unfortunately, Watson adds to the list of injuries for the Packers. On the offensive side, Green Bay has been without star tight end Tucker Kraft after he suffered a torn ACL in November.
Also on Sunday, star pass rusher Micah Parsons exited with a knee injury that is believed to be a torn ACL, ending his season.
The Packers are sitting at 9-4-1, still more than capable of reaching the playoffs, but the injuries are certainly taking a toll on Green Bay's hopes of contending for a Super Bowl.
