Caleb Williams Gives Confident Quote After Reporter Questions Decision on TD Pass
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams made a spectacular play on one of his two touchdown passes to wide receiver DJ Moore in Sunday's 31-3 win over the Cleveland Browns, but he still faced questions about his decision-making.
After the game, Williams was asked if his throw into double coverage could be viewed as "ill-advised," and he gave a confident response.
"I can make any throw," Williams said with a sarcastic smile.
About midway through the third quarter of Sunday's game, Williams rolled out to his right and miraculously found Moore in the back of the end zone for a 22-yard touchdown over two defenders.
Williams finished with 242 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions on 17-of-28 passing. The victory improved the Bears' record to 10-4.
It's clear that Williams' confidence is at an all-time high, and Chicago is certainly hoping he continues his stellar play as the team fights for a playoff spot in the NFC.
The Bears will return to action in Week 16 with a marquee division matchup against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.
