Tom Brady Praises Fernando Mendoza After Heisman Win, 'Love Everything About His Game'
After Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza became the first player in program history to win the Heisman Trophy, he received high praise from arguably the greatest signal-caller of all time.
Legendary quarterback Tom Brady took some time to exalt Mendoza during Sunday's NFL pregame show on Fox.
"I love everything about his game," Brady said. "His leadership is what stands out to me; it's his relatability to his teammates. He's overcome a lot of things in his career."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Mendoza has thrown for 2,980 yards and 33 touchdowns, the latter of which leads the nation. He also added six rushing scores as he guided the Hoosiers to a 13-0 record and a No. 1 ranking in the College Football Playoff.
After transferring from Cal, Mendoza found a groove in his first year in Indiana, and he appears set to be the first quarterback selected in the 2026 NFL draft. B/R's NFL Draft Scouting Department ranked him as the No. 4 overall player in the 2026 class in its draft big board.
Mendoza will now turn his attention to trying to lead the Hoosiers to a national championship, and the praise from Brady should make him even more confident as he tries to cap off a banner year.
