Everything You Need to Know for John Cena's Retirement Match, SNME 42

Chris MuellerDec 13, 2025

It's finally here. After a year of the John Cena retirement tour, we have finally reached the night of his last match.

Saturday Night's Main Event will mark what is being billed as Cena's final foray in a WWE ring. Whether he sticks to that or not remains to be seen, but we are operating under the assumption that after this show, he is done.

The 17-time world champion has made it clear he wants his last night to be about building the future, so we will also see a few NXT Superstars competing to put more eyes on them.

Let's take a look at what you need to know for Saturday's show.

Venue and Start Time

1 of 3

Venue: Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

Start Time: 8 p.m. ET

How to Watch: Peacock

Streaming Info

For fans in the United States, Peacock is your main way to watch SNME.

For international fans, WWE's YouTube channel will be broadcasting the event.

This is not a PLE. Saturday Night's Main Event is still classified differently as a TV special, so that is why it will not be on the usual streaming services you might use for bigger events.
