Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Colts added the 44-year-old Rivers to their practice squad following Daniel Jones' season-ending torn Achilles that he suffered on Sunday. It was a surprising move, as Rivers' last start in the NFL occurred during the 2020 season.
As for McCoy, the former defensive tackle officially announced his retirement in April 2023.
He spent nine years with the Buccaneers, quickly establishing himself as a key piece on their defensive front. McCoy earned six consecutive Pro Bowl nods from 2012-17.
He recorded 54.5 of his 59.5 career sacks in Tampa Bay, ranking No. 4 on the team's all-time leaderboard.
McCoy eventually spent time with the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys before playing his final season as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021.
The 37-year-old now serves as an analyst for NFL Network.
