49ers' Fred Warner Teases Injury Recovery Progress, Rehab in New IG Photos
Fred Warner is seemingly making progress in his injury recovery.
The San Francisco 49ers star linebacker posted a handful of photos on Instagram on Wednesday, some of which gave fans a look into his rehab progress. He posted a video of himself swimming as well as one of him walking, and he looked strong in both.
Warner, a four-time First-team All-Pro member, suffered a dislocated and broken right ankle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. The injury required surgery and sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

Warner had once again been outstanding before the injury, logging 51 tackles, three passes defended and two forced fumbles through six games.
The 29-year-old is not used to dealing with serious injuries. In fact, he's not used to dealing with injuries at all, as the 2018 draft pick had previously missed just one game in his entire career.
While his streak of good injury luck came to an end this year, he seems to be doing well in his rehab and will look to comeback strong in 2026.
