Mets Icon Jose Reyes Appears to React to Pete Alonso's Orioles Contract in New Post

Former New York Mets shortstop José Reyes appeared to share his feelings on Wednesday's news that first baseman Pete Alonso is departing the Big Apple for the Baltimore Orioles.

Alonso reportedly is signing a five-year, $155 million deal with the Orioles, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.

Alonso was drafted by the Mets in 2016 and spent his entire seven-year MLB career with the organization.
