Shedeur Sanders Reacts to Being Named Browns' QB1 for Rest of 2025 NFL Season
Shedeur Sanders has a little more job security with the Cleveland Browns, but the rookie quarterback isn't going to coast the rest of the way.
"I'm thankful for it, but I'm not content," he told reporters Wednesday after head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed he'll start the remainder of the season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In his first two starts, Sanders threw for 358 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while completing 60 percent of his passes. He didn't fare much worse than fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, but he wasn't an obvious upgrade, either.
It was a much different story in Cleveland's 31-29 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 14. Sanders finished 23-of-42 for 364 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
One strong performance doesn't mean the fifth-round pick is the clear long-term solution at quarterback for Cleveland, especially when his big game came against a team that had been 1-11.
But Sanders at least earned the right to be QB1 for now.
"I think [Sanders] has constantly and consistently gotten better in each one of these games and how he's approached this game," Stefanski told reporters. "He's been working very hard. So, I feel good about where his development is heading. He knows there are always going to be plays that he can be better and those type of things, but he's very intentional about getting better each and every game he's out there."
Maybe Sanders can even continue to silence his skeptics and stake a claim to be the Browns' Week 1 starter in 2026.
