Will Mike McDaniel Be Fired by Dolphins? NFL Insider Evaluates HC's Job Security
There was plenty of speculation regarding Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel's job security earlier this year, but the team's recent surge could be enough to keep him in the fold.
ESPN's Dan Graziano reported, "It sounds as if Mike McDaniel has a chance to save his job in Miami with a strong finish, which he seems to be on his way to putting together."
The Dolphins have won four straight games to improve to 6-7, most recently defeating the New York Jets 34-10 on Sunday.

It appeared that major changes were coming to Miami when the team fired general manager Chris Grier, but the recent performance on the field has shown that the players haven't given up on McDaniel.
Still, Graziano warned that "any time the GM gets fired midseason... more potential change could be on the way."
The Dolphins are still in playoff contention, so a trip to the postseason undoubtedly would solidify McDaniel's case to stick around. Miami will try to keep its momentum going when it faces the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) on Monday Night Football.
