DK Metcalf Hospitalized Following Win vs. Ravens, Steelers Provide Update on WR
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf is flying back home today after going to a Baltimore-area hospital following their 27-22 win over the Ravens on Sunday.
Per Steelers senior director of communications Burt Lauten (h/t NFL.com's Ian Rapoport), Metcalf remained in Baltimore overnight after experiencing stomach pains on the team's plane before it took off.
The Steelers medical staff decided "out of an abundance of caution" to have Metcalf go to a hospital for examination rather than fly with the team, but he is traveling back to Pittsburgh on Monday.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There was nothing apparent in the game to suggest that Metcalf was injured at any point. He was on the field for 82.7 percent of Pittsburgh's offensive snaps, which was his third-lowest of the season.
Even with playing fewer snaps that normal, Metcalf had a huge game against the Ravens. He was targeted 12 times, catching seven passes for a season-high 148 yards.
Sunday was just Metcalf's second game with at least 100 yards all season. He had 144 yards in the previous five weeks combined.
Metcalf has appeared in all 13 games for the Steelers so far in 2025. He leads the team in targets (87), receptions (52), receiving yards (753) and receiving touchdowns (five).
After losing three of their previous four games, the Steelers got a much-needed win in Baltimore. They moved back into sole possession of first place in the AFC North with a 7-6 record, one game ahead of the Ravens.
The two teams will meet again in Week 18 in Pittsburgh in a game that could decide the division winner. If Metcalf does miss time or is limited next week, Calvin Austin III would likely step in as the No. 1 receiver.
Metcalf will have an extra day of rest before the Steelers play again. They host the Miami Dolphins at Acrisure Stadium on Monday Night Football in Week 15.
