Aaron Rodgers Says People Might 'Shut the Hell Up' After Tomlin, Steelers Beat Ravens
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is ready for the conversations regarding head coach Mike Tomlin to end, and he believes a big win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday might help.
After the win, Rodgers was asked what a victory meant for the Steelers, and specifically for Tomlin.
"It means maybe you guys will shut the hell up for a week," Rodgers told reporters.

The Steelers jumped out to a strong 4-1 start this season, but their playoff hopes dimmed when they dropped to 6-6. Sunday's game against the Steelers wasn't technically a must-win, but it certainly had the feeling of one.
Given Pittsburgh's recent struggles, there has been speculation regarding Tomlin's future with the franchise. After the loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 13, former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suggested the team would be better off moving on from Tomlin.
"We've had the same head coach in Coach Tomlin," Roethlisberger said on a Dec. 2 episode of his podcast, Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger. "We've had different offensive coordinators, different defensive coordinators. But it's kind of the same story."
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Saturday that the Steelers must decide by March 1 whether they will pick up Tomlin's two-year option, but a decision likely won't be made during the season.
"There will be organizational meetings and decisions that occur, but not until after this season is complete, with a full body of work for all appropriate parties to review, sources said," Schefter wrote.
If the Steelers miss the playoffs, it would almost certainly increase Tomlin's chances of being fired, so picking up a crucial win on Sunday could go a long way.
According to The Athletic's NFL playoff simulator, the Steelers have a 66 percent chance of making the postseason after the win. Their chances jump to 72 percent if they win against the Miami Dolphins next week.
After the Dolphins game, Pittsburgh will close out the season with matchups against the Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns and Ravens. It's hard to say for certain whether Tomlin will be coaching for his job during that stretch, but Rodgers is hoping the questions about his coach die down after Sunday's win.
