Taylyn Hadley Dec 7, 2025

In a battle of elite quarterbacks, Josh Allen came out on top as the Buffalo Bills defeated Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals 39-34 on Sunday.

Fighting to hold onto the final Wild Card spot in the AFC, the win was huge for Buffalo, which improved to 9-4 and moved into the conference's top Wild Card position at No. 5.

Meanwhile, Burrow and the Bengals slid further out of the playoff hunt, dropping to 4-9 and sitting on the brink of elimination.

Burrow was sharp until back-to-back interceptions in the fourth quarter, including a costly pick-six, but still finished with 284 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 25-of-36 passes.
