Former Florida State Ball Boy 'Red Lightning' Turns Pro, Joins Falcons

While NFL teams spend countless hours scouting college players, they also do their homework in order to create the best staff possible.

The Atlanta Falcons upgraded their staff this offseason by adding the best ball boy college football had to offer—Frankie Grizzle. You may know him as "Red Lightning," formerly of Florida State.

On Sunday, Grizzle announced that he would be taking his talents to the next level:

It's kind of surprising that the Philadelphia Eagles didn't pick him up, given his hustle and ability to keep up with a fast-paced offense. That seemed like the perfect fit. However, Grizzle will now get the opportunity to showcase his abilities on the Georgia Dome turf on Sundays.
