While Chestnut is largely known for his prowess in the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, he's also developed a reputation for eating large quantities of wings. He previously consumed 200 boneless wings in just under 38 minutes as part of a promotion with Buffalo Wild Wings in July 2024.
Chestnut returned to the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest in 2025, earning his 17th title in the event by eating 70.5 hot dogs and blowing past the rest of the competitors.
While the 2026 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest is still several months away, the 42-year-old hasn't shown many signs of slowing down while he continues to prepare for the event.
