What is the Extent of Rome Odunze's Foot Injury? NFL Insider Gives Update on Bears WR
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has been playing with a stress fracture in his foot, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Per Pelissero, there's belief that Odunze's injury isn't a long-term issue and he'll be considered "week-to-week" moving forward.
The 23-year-old was previously ruled out of Chicago's matchup with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday after he was unable to participate in practice on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

Odunze was previously able to play through the injury, suiting up in each of the Bears' first 12 regular-season games of the year.
Still, he showed up on Chicago's Week 9 injury report with a heel issue and continued to appear on subsequent reports due to ankle and foot injuries.
While Odunze's absence is a tough blow to a Bears squad looking to remain atop the NFC North standings with a 9-3 record, it's admirable that he was able to play through the injury for as long as he did.
The No. 9 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft has stepped into the role of Chicago's No. 1 wideout in 2025, catching 44 of his team-high 90 targets. Odunze has also racked up 661 receiving yards, finding the end zone six times.
He's become a greater downfield threat as well, going from 13.6 yards per reception in 2024 to 15.0 yards per reception in 2025.
With Odunze unavailable, Luther Burden and Colston Loveland should receive more opportunities alongside D.J. Moore. They have a tall order ahead of them, as the Packers own the NFL's No. 6 pass defense by allowing a mere 186.5 yards per game through the air.
Kickoff between Chicago and Green Bay on Sunday is at 4:25 p.m. ET.
