Drake Maye, Myles Garrett, Latest NFL Awards Betting Odds Favorites Ahead of Week 14

Scott PolacekDec 4, 2025

It's good to be Drake Maye.

The second-year quarterback has led the New England Patriots to the best record in the NFL at 11-2 and, as of Thursday at 5:30 p.m. ET, is the NFL MVP betting favorite.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, he is -135 (bet $135 to win $100) to take home the award. He is joined by others such as Cleveland Browns pass-rusher Myles Garrett, his own head coach in Mike Vrabel and Dak Prescott as the favorites for some of the league's most notable individual awards:

While Maye is in the lead for the most prestigious award, he is far from a lock.

Garrett, on the other hand, is as close to a lock for Defensive Player of the Year as realistically possible for someone with approximately a month remaining in the regular season. While his Browns are just 3-9, he is well within reach of the NFL single-season record for sacks.

In fact, it would be surprising if he doesn't reach the mark with 19 sacks through his first 12 games. The all-time record is 22.5, which Michael Strahan set in 2001 and T.J. Watt tied in 2021. If Garrett gets one sack per game the rest of the way, he will clear the record by a full 1.5 sacks.

The race for Offensive Player of the Year is much closer with Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (-120) checking in just ahead of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (-105).

Taylor leads the league with 1,282 rushing yards, while Smith-Njigba paces the NFL in receiving yards with 1,336.

Some might see them as MVP candidates as well, but the award has become a quarterback one in recent years. Josh Allen's win last year was the 12th time in a row someone at the position captured the league MVP.

Maye has put himself in an ideal position to continue that streak, but Matthew Stafford is right behind him as someone who could also keep the MVP with the quarterbacks.

For now, Maye is the leader while completing 71.5 percent of his passes for 3,412 yards, 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. The completion percentage and yardage totals are the best marks in the NFL and a major reason the Patriots are undergoing such a dramatic turnaround after finishing 4-13 last season.

If they continue to play at such a level, he and Vrabel may capture some individual hardware.
