Dak Prescott Shades Lions, Makes Bold Prediction Ahead of Cowboys' Must-Win TNF Game
Dak Prescott is feeling confident heading into Thursday's matchup against the Detroit Lions.
Ahead of the game, Prescott was asked by NFL Network's Jane Slater whether he remembers what happened the last time he played at Ford Field. He said, "that we lit them up. Lot of passing yards. About to do it again."

The last time Prescott played at Ford Field was November of 2019, and it was a game to remember. The Cowboys quarterback threw for 444 passing yards and three touchdowns in a 35-27 win, which remains one of the best games of his career.
As impressive as that performance was, it came during a season in which the Lions finished 3-12-1. Detroit looks much different now with a new coaching staff and a host of new players, so things won't be quite as easy this time around.
While the Lions' bread and butter is on the offensive end, they have a strong secondary that is ready to make life difficult on Prescott and his receivers. Star wideout CeeDee Lamb said earlier this week that he's anticipating a fight.
"I know their DBs like to play hands-on, they run a lot of man, and they want to be in your face," Lamb told reporters on Monday. "You know what's going on. It's just about how you prepare for it. It's almost like a boxing match."
Luckily for the Cowboys, Prescott has been playing some of his best football of the season as of late. He's thrown for the second-most yards (3,261) and the second-most touchdowns (25) in the NFL this season.
In a win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week, he threw for 320 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
The Cowboys need that version of Prescott this week as they look to keep their postseason hopes alive. At 6-5-1, the playoffs are still within reach for Dallas, and a win over the Lions would go a long way.
