Week 14 Fantasy Football Rankings Position-by-Position Rundown
For many fantasy football managers, Week 14 brings a make-or-break slate of lineup decisions. With the playoffs looming in most season-long leagues, one wrong choice could keep a team from getting there.
Managers will, obviously, want to trust the top players and the best matchups over the final 13 games of Week 14. Here, you'll find a brief overview of the key fantasy spots, along with complete rankings for all positions.
All rankings and analysis are based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.
Quarterback
1 of 5.jpg)
1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
2. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
4. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
5. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
6. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
7. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
8. Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals
9. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
10. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
11. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
12. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is regularly featured at the top of our rankings, and things will be no different this week. The Bills have a matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, who A.) have Joe Burrow back behind center and B.) continue to have a suspect defense.
Burrow should help the Bengals keep pace on the scoreboard, preventing Buffalo from leaning too heavily into the run and too far away from Allen. Cincinnati's defense has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is another top-tier dual-threat who is usually a must-start when healthy. However, he's dealing with an ankle injury—though the Ravens do expect him to play, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.
Managers on the lookout for waiver-wire help might want to consider New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough. He's coming off an outing with 18.4 fantasy points and will face a suddenly vulnerable Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense.
Tampa has surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Shough is rostered in only eight percent of Yahoo leagues and six percent of ESPN leagues.
Running Back
2 of 5.jpg)
1. De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins
2. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
3. James Cook, Buffalo Bills
4. Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
5. Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
6. Breece Hall, New York Jets
7. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
8. Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
9. Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
10. Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns
11. RJ Harvey, Denver Broncos
12. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens
13. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
14. Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers
15. Travis Etienne Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars
16. Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders
17. Wood Marks, Houston Texans
18. D'Andre Swift, Chicago Bears
19. Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks
20. Kyle Monangai, Chicago Bears
It'll be hard for running backs to match Jahmyr Gibbs' Thursday night performance. The Detroit Lions star only rushed for 43 yards, but he caught seven passes for 77 yards and scored three touchdowns.
There are, however, a few backs who could come close. Miami Dolphins star De'Von Achane has topped 19 fantasy points in three straight games and has a terrific matchup against the New York Jets. New York has surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing RBs this season.
No team has surrendered more fantasy points to opposing backs than Cincinnati, which is obviously great news for James Cook's managers. Chase Brown should have a solid outing in the Bengals-Bills matchup as well. Buffalo has coughed up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing RBs.
The list of viable starters who might be available on the wire is quite short. However, Arizona Cardinals fill-in Bam Knight and Washington Commanders back Chris Rodriguez Jr. are worth some consideration.
Knight has topped 13 fantasy points in three straight games, but he does have a brutal matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Rodriguez has been less productive but has a more reasonable matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Both backs are still available in over 90 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Wide Receiver

1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
2. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
3. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
4. Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams
5. Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
6. Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
7. Nico Collins, Houston Texans
8. Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins
9. Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
10. Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
11. A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles
12. Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
13. Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
14. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
15. DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
16. Michael Pittman Jr., Indianapolis Colts
17. Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals
18. Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders
19. Jakobi Meyers, Jacksonville Jaguars
20. Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos
21. DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
22. Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
23. Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts
24. Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos
25. Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers
Like Allen, Seattle Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a must-start in pretty much every format, every week. However, he should have game-winning numbers this week against a Washington Commanders defense that has surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing receivers.
Rams wideouts Puka Nacua and Davante Adams both project as strong plays, even though the Cardinals have a respectable defense—one that has surrendered the 11th-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers.
Matthew Stafford and the Rams got embarrassed by the Carolina Panthers in last week's upset. Expect them to treat this week as a "get-right" opportunity, which could lead to big numbers in the passing game.
Green Bay Packers receivers like Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs could have big numbers this week as well. The Packers will host the Chicago Bears, who have surrendered the third-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
On the waiver front, Houston Texans receiver Jayden Higgins looms as a strong option. He'll face a good Kansas City Chiefs defense but has topped nine fantasy points in four straight games.
Higgins is available in roughly 60 percent of ESPN and Yahoo leagues.
Tight End
4 of 5.jpg)
1. Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
2. Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts
3. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
4. Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders
5. Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars
6. Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints
7. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
8. Harold Fanning Jr., Cleveland Browns
9. Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders
10. Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
11. Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
12. Oronde Gadsden II, Los Angeles Chargers
13. Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears
14. Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
15. Evan Engram, Denver Broncos
Cardinals Trey McBride is a fantasy cheat code at tight end who has fallen below double-digit fantasy points only once this season. He's topped 20 points in three of his last four games and should come through against the Rams.
While Los Angeles' defense has been solid in most areas, it has been average against opposing tight ends, surrendering the 16th-most fantasy points to the position.
Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren hasn't been quite as consistent as McBride this year, but he's been a top-tier tight end and has one of the best matchups of the entire week. The Colts will face the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have surrendered the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
On the waiver wire, Isaiah Likely is the most reasonable sleeper who is still available in the majority of Yahoo and ESPN leagues—it's worth checking to see if Brenton Strange or Harold Fannin Jr. are available.
Likely has a low floor but did reach 12.5 fantasy points last week. He'll also face a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that has surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing TEs.
