Arsenal Transfer News: Julian Draxler Agrees Juve Terms, David Ospina Rumours
Long-term Arsenal target Julian Draxler will snub the club this summer to join Juventus after agreeing terms with the Serie A champions, but the Gunners have received more pleasing news on the future of David Ospina.
Schalke playmaker Draxler has been associated with the north Londoners for some years now, but Adam Skinner of the Daily Express reports personal terms have been agreed with the Bianconeri.

The move isn't complete just yet, however, as Draxler's agent Roger Wittmann is quoted, proclaiming: "We are at a point where only Juventus and Schalke must come to a deal."
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has spoken positively regarding the club's summer business, however, telling Sky Italia he hopes to sign a player who just happens to match Draxler's description (via Goal's Mark Doyle):
"We need someone we can play between the lines [of the attack]. The club are working on this. Right now we have to work with the squad that we have available to us. The club has worked very well this summer and now we're thinking only about our conditioning. But other players will arrive. The market is long.
"
Draxler has long been tipped as one of the Bundesliga's most promising players, but injuries blighted the winger's development last season, restricting him to just 15 league appearances.
Yet despite that setback, Draxler's proposed move to the Italian top flight is exciting BT Sport's James Horncastle, who posted a glimpse of what the youngster can offer:
Although he's migrated closer to the flanker over the past year and more, Draxler once found his home in a No. 10 capacity, a role he can still fulfil to a high standard, of which Juve are most likely aware.
With the likes of Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla already at the Emirates Stadium, it would be hard to see where the Germany international fits in any case.
The Gunners have suffered in the past after being found lacking in the striker department, but after they put six past Lyon in the Emirates Cup on Saturday, the signs are looking positive for the future.
Schalke are still standing firm over the sale of their 21-year-old, giving the Gunners time to contemplate any last-ditch bid of their own in an attempt to turn Draxler's head away from Turin.
David Ospina Set For Deputy Role

Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger has greater clarity over the goalkeeper situation at the Emirates, after it was reported Ospina will remain as the Gunners' No. 2 this season.
Petr Cech was brought in as Wenger's new first choice between the sticks, and Steve Stammers of the Mirror insists Ospina will play his deputy after clearing the air with his manager. Stammers writes:
"Wenger explained to Ospina (above) that he still rates him highly and gave him assurances that, with Arsenal competing in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup, he will be given adequate opportunities to play first team football.
It was the same kind of pledge that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho gave to Asmir Begovic when he persuaded the Bosnia international to move from an automatic first choice position at Stoke.
"
It leaves the question as to what role goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will have at the club this season, if any, with Football Italia reporting the Poland international is set to join Roma on loan:
Ospina will be all but too aware of the campaign in front of him, with Cech set to demote him once again after edging his nose in front of Szczesny for part of the 2014-15 season.
The Colombia stopper had options elsewhere in the Premier League, too, according to South American football writer Carl Worswick, who hints the player is content with his new role:
In Cech, Wenger finally has a goalkeeper of the truly elite calibre, a figure who can be relied upon and is invigorated to do well this term after serving behind Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois last term.
As important as the starting role may be, Wenger will be just as pleased to be holding onto a reserve stopper of such high quality, providing significant cover for his new arrival.
