LeBron, Caitlin Clark Congratulate Nelly Korda Getting Engaged to Casey Gunderson

Two-time major champion Nelly Korda announced her engagement to boyfriend Casey Gunderson over Thanksgiving weekend.

"In this life… & the next," Korda wrote in the caption.

The Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James, Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark and golf peers Lexi Thompson and Michelle Wie West were among those who congratulated Korda in the replies.

"Congratulations!!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾," James said.

Clark chimed in to write, "congrats!!!❤️."

Korda and Clark have gotten to know one another better at the Annika Pro Am. They've been paired together in the event for each of the last two years at Pelican Golf Club in Florida.

Korda, the LPGA's Player of the Year for 2024, had a down year by her high standards. She failed to register a win in 19 starts, though she did have nine top-10 finishes.

The 27-year-old's consistency earned her a fifth-place finish in the Race to CME Globe, and she capped off 2025 by winding up in third in the CME Group Tour Championship.
