The Giants endured a disastrous outing against the MVP frontrunner, trailing 30-7 at halftime after several costly mistakes. Dart finished with 139 yards and one touchdown as New York fell to 2-11.
New York found the end zone in the second half and converted a two-point attempt to cut the deficit to two scores, but New England's defense held firm while the offense tacked on a field goal to seal the home win.
Entering Monday's standout performance, Maye, in his second year out of North Carolina, had thrown for 3,130 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions with a 73 percent QBR.
