Drake Maye and the New England Patriots defeated Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants 33-15 at home on Monday to extend their winning streak to 10.

The Patriots improved to 11-2 on the season at the top of both the AFC East and the AFC, powered by Maye, who threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns while completing 24-of-31 passes. 

Kayshon Boutte hauled in a touchdown while Kyle Williams added another receiving score from Maye, who led the offense to 21 first downs, including 14 passing and converting six of 13 third-down attempts.

Maye has put together an MVP-worthy season and currently holds the best odds at minus-150 to win the league's MVP award, per DraftKings.

Fans weighed in on Maye's MVP case after his dominant outing on Monday.

The Giants endured a disastrous outing against the MVP frontrunner, trailing 30-7 at halftime after several costly mistakes. Dart finished with 139 yards and one touchdown as New York fell to 2-11.

New York found the end zone in the second half and converted a two-point attempt to cut the deficit to two scores, but New England's defense held firm while the offense tacked on a field goal to seal the home win.

Entering Monday's standout performance, Maye, in his second year out of North Carolina, had thrown for 3,130 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions with a 73 percent QBR.

The Patriots will head into a bye week before facing division rival Buffalo on Dec. 14.
