Jadarian Price NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Seattle Seahawks RB

Damian ParsonFeb 9, 2026

The Seattle Seahawks selected Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Jadarian Price is a nuanced, natural running back prospect with outstanding vision to find daylight beyond the line of scrimmage. The 5'11", 210-pound prospect has the physical tools to be an RB1.

Price joined Notre Dame as a 4-star recruit in the 2022 class. He was a steady producer as the Fighting Irish's RB2 and big-play kick returner.

Price projects as a potential RB1 in the NFL, with the movement skills to grow into a pass-catcher on third downs.

Where He Wins

2 of 5
Notre Dame v Pittsburgh

- Natural, instinctive and patient runner with elite-level vision to navigate the box to exploit unoccupied lanes.

-Scheme-versatile runner who can execute both zone and gap concepts. Patience is on display when following lead blockers into daylight on pin-pull actions.

- Great feel for space at the line of scrimmage. Sets up second-level defenders and opens up cutbacks.

- Quick-footed runner at the line of scrimmage. Lateral agility and cuts to exchange gaps based on the defensive run-fills.

- A threat to house kick returns on special teams. Averaged over 35 yards per return and hit paydirt three times on 22 returns throughout his collegiate career.

Areas of Improvement

3 of 5
Texas A&M v Notre Dame

- Needs to develop a route tree out of the backfield for increased third-down value.

- Downhill power as a runner in short-yardage situations.

- Lacks elite stop-start ability to thrive as a one-cut runner on zone concepts.

- Must prioritize ball security in the NFL. Had three fumbles on only 113 carries in 2025.
