Week 14 Fantasy Football Rankings Position-by-Position Breakdown

Kristopher KnoxDec 2, 2025

What ended up being a thrilling Week 13 slate just wrapped on Monday, but the next NFL slate is only days away. The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys will face off on Thursday night in a playoff-caliber NFC matchup.

This will likely be a playoff-caliber week for many fantasy managers too, even if the postseason hasn't officially started in their season-long leagues. Many managers will be battling for a playoff spot this week.

With this in mind, let's take a look at some early point-per-reception (PPR) rankings and a few top matchups worth highlighting. As a reminder, the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers will be on bye this week.

Quarterback

1 of 4
Bills Steelers Football
Bills QB Josh Allen

1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

2. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

4. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

5. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

6. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

7. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts

8. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

9. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

10. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

11. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

12. Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks

Matchup to Love: Josh Allen vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen typically trends toward the top of the fantasy rankings weekly. However, he hasn't been a surefire fantasy star in recent weeks. He had a respectable 17.7 fantasy points in Week 13 and an underwhelming 10.1 points in Week 12.

The good news is that Allen will have a chance to rebound against the Cincinnati Bengals this week. The Bengals have struggled against both the run and the pass this season while allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

The Bengals also have Joe Burrow back behind center, meaning they should do a fair bit of scoring and force Allen to remain a big part of the offensive game plan.

James Cook should have a terrific outing too, but expect Allen to truly shine as a runner and passer this week.

Running Back

Dolphins RB De'Von Achane

1. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions

2. De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins

3. James Cook, Buffalo Bills

7. Breece Hall, New York Jets

8. Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers

9. Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

10. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens

11. Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams

12. Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns

13. RJ Harvey, Denver Broncos

14. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles

15. Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks

Matchup to Love: De'Von Achane at New York Jets

With Amon-Ra St. Brown battling an ankle sprain, Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs may see a massive workload against Dallas that pushes him to the top of the rankings. However, Miami Dolphins standout De'Von Achane will be in the mix for RB1 based on his matchup alone.

The New York Jets have surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. Last week, they gave up 30.3 points to Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson.

Achane is heavily involved in Miami's passing game, which has given him a consistently strong PPR floor. Achane is averaging 21.2 fantasy points per week and has not dipped below 12 points in any game this season.

Wide Receiver

Chiefs Cowboys Football
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb

1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys

2. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks

3. George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys

4. Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams

5. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals

6. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams

7. A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles

8. Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions

9. Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins

10. Nico Collins, Houston Texans

11. Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

12. Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs

13. Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

14. Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers

15. Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers

16. DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles

17. Michael Pittman Jr., Indianapolis Colts

18. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings

19. Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders

20. Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos

Matchup to Love: CeeDee Lamb at Detroit Lions

Gibbs may also see a large workload on Thursday because the Lions look to keep Dallas' explosive offense off the field by running the ball. That would be a logical strategy for Detroit because the Cowboys' passing attack is cooking.

Detroit's secondary, meanwhile, hasn't been so hot. While the Lions rank 16th in passing yards allowed, they've also surrendered the second-most fantasy points to opposing receivers.

This could mean big fantasy performances for both CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens on Thursday. Both receivers are strong starts this week, but we'll give Lamb a little bit of an edge because of his deep-threat ability.

The Lions have struggled, at times, with speed. Last Thursday, Dontayvion Wicks burned them for 94 yards and two touchdowns on six receptions. Christian Watson got them for 80 yards and a score on four grabs. Lamb, who is coming off a 24.2-point performance, should follow suit.

7. Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys

9. Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints

10. Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons

11. Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders

12. Darren Waller, Miami Dolphins

13. Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns

15. Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans

Matchup to Love: Tyler Warren at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Indianapolis Colts have lost three of their last four and are now in danger of letting the AFC South slip away. This week, Indy will battle the Jacksonville Jaguars, who currently hold the top spot in the division.

If the Colts hope to recapture first place, they'll need to target rookie tight end Tyler Warren early and often. Defending opposing tight ends has been an issue for the Jags.

Jacksonville has surrendered the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. Warren, meanwhile, has averaged 13.1 fantasy points and has topped nine points in each of his last three games.
