Ex-Raiders HC Antonio Pierce Says LV 'Might Need Decades' to Fix Franchise in Video
Former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce doesn't think the organization's woes will be solved anytime soon.
"They might need decades to fix this bad boy," he said during an appearance on CBS' NFL Today. "I'm just saying. One and done, one and done, one and done... is there another coach gone? Another coordinator? Listen, there's gonna be something I talk about a little later where everybody's pointing fingers. But at some point, point there and the thumb points back."

Pierce, 47, spent parts of two seasons leading the Raiders, going just 9-17 in the process. He was fired ahead of the 2025 season and replaced by Pete Carroll, who has gone just 2-10 in his first year on the job.
Pierce seemed to be hinting that perhaps it wasn't the coaching, but ownership, that was the problem in Vegas. The Raiders have had just one winning season since 2017, with six different head coaches (full-time or interim) in that duration, so there's certainly a common thread at play.
