What Is Marvin Harrison Jr. Timeline to Return to Cardinals After Appendix Surgery?
After missing the past two games due to an appendectomy, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is reportedly trending in a positive direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
According to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss, there is a "solid" chance Harrison will play in Week 13 on the heels of missing Week 11 and 12 losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
In nine games played for the 3-8 Cards this season, Harrison has recorded 34 catches for 525 yards and four touchdowns.

Arizona originally selected Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft out of Ohio State, and he was the Cardinals' top wideout as a rookie.
His 62 receptions and 885 yards were second on the team behind only tight end Trey McBride, and he led the Cards with eight touchdown grabs.
Harrison had been on pace to set new career highs in receptions and receiving yardage this season, but that may be tough to pull off now after missing a pair of games with appendicitis.
The son of Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Marvin Harrison was a limited participant in practice throughout the week, and he is officially listed as questionable to play against the Bucs.
During Harrison's two-game absence, Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch stepped up as popular targets for quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
Wilson, who is now second on the team this season behind only McBride with 47 catches and 534 yards, enjoyed the best two-game stretch of his career by far while Harrison was out.
The 2023 third-round pick out of Stanford totaled 25 receptions for 303 yards combined over the past two games.
Dortch, a sixth-year undrafted player out of Wake Forest, also excelled with Harrison out of the lineup, recording 12 grabs for 119 yards and two touchdowns during his absence.
Wilson, Dortch and McBride will continue to dominate targets if Harrison can't play Sunday, but if Harrison does return, Brissett will have a vast array of quality weapons at his disposal.
