Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is back.
Head coach Dan Quinn told reporters on Friday that Daniels has cleared all necessary hurdles and will be under center on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings:

Daniels suffered a dislocated left elbow during his team's 38-14 home loss to the Washington Commanders on Nov. 2. Daniels didn't need surgery and avoided going on injured reserve.
In the week leading up to the Commanders' Nov. 30 home game versus the Denver Broncos, Daniels turned in limited practices all week.
Per ESPN.com's John Keim, Quinn considered him "unlikely" to play in what was ultimately a 27-26 overtime loss.
It's been a rough year for Daniels, who also sat two games with a sprained left knee and one game with a right hamstring injury.
For the season, Daniels has completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 1,184 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions. He's also rushed for 262 yards and two scores.
The 2023 Heisman Trophy winner burst onto the NFL scene in 2024 with a tremendous rookie year, leading the Commanders to 12 regular season wins and their first NFC Championship Game appearance since 2003.
He won Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year honors and even finished seventh in the MVP voting.
He'll look back to regaining some of that form when the Commanders travel to U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday for a showdown with J.J. McCarthy and the Vikings.
