Will Eagles Change Play-Callers After Loss to Bears? Nick Sirianni Gives OC Update
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni discussed offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo's status as the team's play-caller following a 24-15 loss to the Chicago Bears on Friday.
"No, I still stay with that," Sirianni told reporters after the game. "This is the greatest team sport there is and it is never about one person. We all have to look internally and all have to get better, coaches and players."

"No, there won't be a change at play caller," he added.
Patullo served as Philadelphia's passing game coordinator from 2021-24 until he was promoted to offensive coordinator on Feb. 19 after Kellen Moore left to become head coach of the New Orleans Saints.
The defending Super Bowl champions weren't able to consistently move the chains against Chicago on Friday, picking up just 14 total first downs. The Eagles also converted a mere four of their 12 opportunities on third down.
Despite sitting at 8-4 on the season, Philadelphia's offense has taken a step back compared to 2024. The Eagles owned the NFL's No. 18 scoring offense through 12 weeks this year, recording 23.2 points per game.
Philadelphia also averaged just 5.2 yards per play prior to the loss to Chicago, which ranked No. 21 among all teams (via Pro Football Reference).
The Eagles' offensive stars have also seen their individual production decline. Saquon Barkley, who earned Offensive Player of the Year honors by rushing for 2,005 yards in 2024, has picked up just 740 yards on the ground this year.
While three-time Pro Bowl wideout A.J. Brown racked up a season-high 132 yards on 10 catches against the Bears, he entered Friday's action averaging a career-low 56.7 receiving yards per game.
The Eagles' offense continues to be a cause for concern with the playoffs drawing closer, but a change at offensive coordinator doesn't seem to be in the near future.
