Ben Johnson Rips Shirt Off to Celebrate Bears' Win vs. Eagles in Viral Video

A jubilant Ben Johnson ripped his shirt off in celebration after the head coach guided his Chicago Bears to a 24-15 road win over the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.

Johnson then led the Bears on their "Good. Better. Best." victory chant after his first-place team moved to 9-3 on the season.

Johnson used to play football at A.C. Reynolds High School in Asheville, North Carolina, where the football team yelled that motto. He's now brought that over to the Bears, who have dramatically improved in Johnson's first year at the helm.

The former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator took over a team that went 5-12 last year. Chicago will almost certainly double that win total (and then some) in 2025 as the Bears look to win their first NFC North title since 2018.

On Friday, the Bears' ground game was firing on all cylinders as Kyle Monangai and D'Andre Swift combined for 255 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Chicago ended up out-gaining Philadelphia 425-317 and shut down the Eagle offense for most of the contest.

The Bears are in the driver's seat for the NFC North, and a pair of games against the arch-rival 8-3-1 Green Bay Packers should go a long way toward determining who wins the crown. The first one is up next on Sunday, Dec. 7 in Green Bay.
