NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Clemson WR Antonio Williams

Damian ParsonFeb 9, 2026

Antonio Williams is an elusive run-after-catch threat who projects to be a productive slot receiver in the NFL.

Williams plays with good football IQ and understanding of how to attack different coverages. He's skilled enough to make plays with the football.

Williams joined Clemson as a 4-star recruit in the 2022 class. He finished the 2025 season as the Tigers' second-leading receiver.

Williams has battled nagging injuries since 2023, which caused him to miss games each season.

Dame Parson is the lead host of the Locked On NFL Draft podcast. He also serves as co-host of the Scouting Room NFL Podcast alongside Daniel Harms.

Where He Wins

1 of 4
Duke v Clemson

- Excels at attacking and exploiting the voids versus zone coverages. Finds grass and settles into the openings.

- Fearless route-runner who can work in the middle of the field. Plays with good pacing to navigate high-traffic areas.

- Plays fast and sudden, placing defenders in conflict and forcing them to get to their spots in coverage quickly.

- Runs routes with good deception, using his body to sell breaks and movements to keep defenders off-balance.

- Projects to be a good yards-after-catch threat in the NFL due to his post-catch wiggle/elusiveness in the open field. Can put a move on a defender and get upfield.

Areas of Improvement

2 of 4
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: OCT 18 SMU at Clemson

- More quick than fast. Lacks the explosiveness to produce big plays out of the slot.

- Routes will need refining, emphasizing attention to detail. Freelances mid-stem and does not produce sharp cuts at the break point.

- Possesses average acceleration/burst out of his breaks to generate great amounts of space.

- Inexperienced versus press coverage. Needs to showcase he has the releases and ability to defeat it.
