Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jones has plenty to be thankful for this year, considering how well his team has been playing as of late. Dallas started the year 3-5-1, but has now won three straight, including wins over last year's Super Bowl participants, the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
After the rough start to the 2025 campaign, the Cowboys' chances of reaching the playoffs seemed slim. Now, Jones thinks a postseason appearance is well within reason.
"With Detroit coming up here this week, we can think a lot more about it, more so from the team and the way we're playing than I do the job we've got ahead of us relative to one's wins and losses," Jones said. "The way this team is playing, I think we've got a team that can sustain this and then, if we get a shot at it and then we deserve to be there."
Even though the 6-5-1 Cowboys have some momentum, they can't let their foot off the gas anytime soon. Dallas will welcome the Detroit Lions next week in what should be a tough matchup. The Cowboys also still have tough teams like the Los Angeles Chargers and Chicago Bears remaining on the schedule.
