Micah Parsons Reacts to Making NFL History on Video After Packers' Win vs. Lions
Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons has enjoyed an outstanding start to his NFL career, and now he's made history.
On Thursday, Parsons became the first player in NFL history with at least 12 sacks through his first five NFL seasons. The defensive end said he's "thankful" to be in a position to break the record.
"I'm just so thankful to be a part of history in my own self," Parsons said. "And then obviously doing it with the Green Bay Packers, somewhere that has a rich history in itself."

But he's not taking time to celebrate the historic moment. He's focused on getting to six seasons in a row with 12 or more sacks.
"How can we get to six? That's the mindset," he said. "And then it's like, once you do six, how do you get to seven? How do I keep improving? How do I continue to get better?"
He brought his sack total up to 12.5 with a hit against Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff in the Packers' Thanksgiving matchup. The Packers beat their division rival 31-24 to improve to 8-3-1 on the year.
Parsons has been one of the best pass rushers in the NFL since he was drafted in 2021, and now he's on pace to record a career high in sacks in his first year with Green Bay.
