Week 13 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em, Play or Bench Tips for Fantasy Football Managers
Week 13 has arrived with a Thanksgiving tripleheader. Fantasy managers will see all 32 teams in action this week, meaning they should have most of their lineup options available.
Managers will even have Joe Burrow available, as the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback is set to return to face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.
This doesn't mean that every lineup decision will be an easy one, though. Here, you'll find a look at some of the best and worst matchups of Week 13, along with start/sit advice for point-per-reception (PPR) leagues.
Quarterback

Start: Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos offense has struggled, at times, to find an identity. Its lack of rhythm has led to some disappointing outings by quarterback Bo Nix. The second-year signal-caller has had some great weeks, but he's failed to reach 13 fantasy points in each of his last two games.
Nix should have strong production this week, however. Denver is coming out of its bye and is set to face a Washington Commanders team that has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs.
Sit: Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
Daniel Jones has been surprisingly fantastic with the Indianapolis Colts for most of this season. The former New York Giants draft bust has resurrected both his career and his fantasy stock with his new team—Jones has averaged 19.7 fantasy points.
Jones isn't exactly matchup-proof, though. He failed to reach 13 fantasy points against the Los Angeles Rams back in Week 4, and he'll face an elite Houston Texans defense this week. The Texans have surrendered a league-low 12.2 fantasy points per game and just held Josh Allen to 10.1 fantasy points.
Running Back

Start: Breece Hall, New York Jets
Breece Hall has arguably been the only reliable piece of the New York Jets offense this season. This has made him a boom-or-bust fantasy star since teams will focus on limiting him, but he often shines when they fail.
Hall has averaged 13.9 fantasy points this season but has also fallen short of nine fantasy points in three of his last six games. This should be an "up" week for Hall, as he'll face an Atlanta Falcons team that has surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing RBs.
Sit: Tyrone Tracy Jr., New York Giants
In the wake of Cam Skattebo's injury, Tyrone Trace Jr. has established himself as the more reliable of the New York Giants' remaining backfield options. Devin Singletary does see carries, but Tracy tends to get most of the receiving work.
Tracy has topped 15 fantasy points in back-to-back weeks. This week, though, he belongs on the bench. The New England Patriots have been brutally difficult for opposing running backs, and no team has surrendered fewer fantasy points to the position.
Wide Receiver

Start: Ladd McConkey, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
It's been an odd season for Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey. He started the year slowly as Justin Herbert found other targets, returned to fantasy stardom, returned to fantasy stardom for a few weeks and then dipped again as the Chargers' offense sputtered.
McConkey has fallen short of 10 fantasy points in two of his last three games.
This should be a rebound week for both McConkey and the Chargers offense, though. The Las Vegas Raiders defense has some talent but tends to crack eventually. It has surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing WRs.
Sit: DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers seem confident that Aaron Rodgers (wrist) will make his return this week. However, that isn't likely to boost DK Metcalf into must-start territory.
While Metcalf reached double-digit fantasy points in Week 12, he also logged 12 rushing yards and a rushing score. In the passing game, he logged five receptions but for a mere 22 yards.
Metcalf has failed to reach 10 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Even against a middling Buffalo Bills defense, he can't be trusted.
Tight End

Start: Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens' offense has looked fantastic at times this season but has struggled over the past couple of weeks. Tight end Mark Andrews flopped in Week 12, yielding just 2.1 fantasy points.
Andrews, though, has topped 10 fantasy points in three of his last four games and should bounce back against the Bengals. No team has surrendered more fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
Sit: Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
Patriots tight end Hunter Henry took advantage of Cincinnati's soft defense last week, tallying a whopping 24.5 fantasy points. However, he fell below 10 fantasy points in seven consecutive contests before that.
This week, Henry will face a Giants defense that has surrendered the 10th-fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs. Expect him to fall back to subpar production.
