Luke Wattenberg, Broncos Reportedly Agree to $48M Extension, Contract Details Revealed
The Denver Broncos have reportedly signed center Luke Wattenberg to a four-year, $48 million extension with $27 million in guaranteed money, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
He's now under contract through the 2029 season.

Tuesday's news doesn't come as the biggest surprise, meanwhile, after head coach Sean Payton told reporters this week that organization was holding extension talks with a number of players, including Wattenberg.
Wattenberg, 28, is one of three starting lineman the Broncos drafted, joining Garett Bolles and Quinn Meinerz, though he wasn't much of a factor for the team in his first two seasons, making just one start. But he won the starting job in 2024 and hasn't looked back since, establishing himself as a key part of the team's offense.
The Broncos rank 10th in rushing (122.3 YPG) this season, relying on a solid ground game behind their stout offensive line and an elite defense The result has been a 9-2 start for the Broncos, who are looking to win their first AFC West crown since 2015 and end the Kansas City Chiefs' run of dominance in the division.
The top overall seed in the AFC is also very much up for grabs, with the upstart New England Patriots (10-2) currently in the driver's seat.
The Broncos will return to action on Sunday following their Week 12 bye, facing the Washington Commanders.
