Shedeur and Deion Sanders on Browns? Former Player Pitches Reunion for Super Bowl Run
The Cleveland Browns have never won a Super Bowl in franchise history, but one former player believes the way to change that is by firing head coach Kevin Stefanski and replacing him with Deion Sanders so the current Colorado coach could be reunited with his son, Shedeur.
Leigh Bodden told TMZ Sports it is the "perfect time" to make such a move with Sanders set to make his first career start Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.
"I'ma help turn this program around," Bodden said. "Turn this organization around and, like I said, have a Lombardi trophy celebration by [Lake] Erie. Father-son duo, they did it in college. Let's see it in the pros."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The former defensive back highlighted the respect Deion Sanders would command from the locker room as a Hall of Fame player himself and even suggested the pairing could replicate some of the accomplishments of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick with the New England Patriots.
Belichick and Brady won six Super Bowls together as the figureheads of one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history. By comparison, Browns fans would likely settle for their second playoff win since the 1994 campaign.
Deion Sanders' best season with Colorado came in 2024 when Shedeur was under center. The Buffaloes went 9-4 and reached the Alamo Bowl, which was just their third bowl appearance since the 2007 season.
However, things are trending in the wrong direction with Shedeur and Travis Hunter now in the NFL. Colorado fell to 3-8 overall and 1-7 in Big 12 play with Saturday's 42-17 blowout loss to Arizona State.
It is reminiscent of Sanders' first season at the helm in 2023 when the Buffaloes were 4-8 overall and 1-8 in Pac-12 play. He is 16-20 in three seasons as the program's head coach.
As for Shedeur Sanders, Sunday will be his first start after he entered the Browns' previous game against the Baltimore Ravens when Dillon Gabriel left with an injury. Things did not go well for the rookie, who finished 4-of-16 for 47 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception while taking two sacks as Baltimore completed a comeback victory.
To be fair to Sanders, it was far from an easy situation to be thrown in the middle of a game against a playoff contender with no live action since the preseason.
Perhaps Sunday's start against the Raiders will go better seeing how he has prepared all week and will be facing a defense that is 24th in the league in points allowed per game.
