Jordan Love Says 'I Don't Even Know What Week It Is' amid Packers Playoff Bracket Race

Mike ChiariNov 21, 2025

The 2025 NFL regular season is entering the stretch run, but Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love wasn't even sure what week of the schedule the league was in until he was reminded this week.

So far this season, the Packers have played only one divisional game, that being a Week 1 victory over the NFC North rival Detroit Lions.

Given the unique makeup of Green Bay's schedule, Love couldn't remember the week off the top of his head, telling reporters, "It's been a weird schedule for us, playing Week 1 [in] a division game and now I don't even know what week it is. Yeah, so it's been a long time. It's felt weird, and obviously we'll have a couple back to back right now. It's definitely a stretch that we'll have to take advantage of."

The 6-3-1 Packers are preparing for Week 12, and they have a huge home game on tap with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

That will mark their first of three divisional games in a row, as they will play a road game against the Lions and a home game against the Chicago Bears in the two weeks that follow.

Overall, five of the Packers' final seven games are against NFC North opponents, and those contests figure to have a significant impact on the divisional race.

The Bears are currently atop the NFC North with a 7-3 mark, but their lead is tenuous at best with the 6-3-1 Packers and 6-4 Lions closely trailing them.

If the regular season were to end on Friday, the Packers would be No. 6 seed in the NFC, and they would face the Bears on the road in the NFC Wild Card Round of the playoffs.

The Packers are seeking their third consecutive playoff appearance, and it also happens to be Love's third season as the starter since the departure of future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers.

It has been an up-and-down season for the Packers thus far, but with an offense led by Love and running back Josh Jacobs, and a defense led by pass-rusher Micah Parsons, they could be dangerous and a tough out if they make the postseason field.
