NFL Announces Week 14 Schedule Changes for Packers vs. Bears, Bills vs. Bengals

Zach BacharNov 20, 2025

The NFL made a pair of scheduling changes for Week 14 of the 2025 season on Thursday.

The league announced that an NFC North showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears was moved from 1 p.m. ET to 4:25 p.m. ET on Dec. 7, while the Buffalo Bills' matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals was flexed to 1 p.m. ET to accommodate the switch.

The change is understandable, as the clash involving the Bears and Packers will have big playoff implications. Chicago and Green Bay sit at 7-3 and 6-3-1 respectively, owning the top two spots in the division standings entering Week 12.

The Bears have exceeded expectations this season due to their success in close battles. They own a 5-1 record in one-score games. They've also been helped by a defense that ranks No. 1 in the NFL with 22 takeaways in 2025.

Green Bay is looking for its third consecutive playoff berth despite dealing with some offensive inconsistency of late. The Packers have remained in the NFC North race due to a defense that has allowed just 19.6 points per game, the seventh-best mark in the league.

Star pass-rusher Micah Parsons has lived up to expectations during his first year in Green Bay, amassing eight sacks and 17 quarterback hits in 10 games.

While the Bills sit at 7-3 led by another impressive individual season from Josh Allen, the Bengals have struggled mightily in 2025. Cincinnati owns a mere 3-7 record, which includes a 1-7 mark since star quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a toe injury in Week 2 that has kept him out ever since.

The Bengals also own the NFL's worst scoring defense, giving up 33.4 points per game.

The matchup with Buffalo could carry more intrigue with Burrow returning to practice as a full participant on Wednesday, though.
