Kafka Reacts to Cam Skattebo, Giants' Wild Brawl on WWE Raw amid Star's Injury
New York Giants interim head coach Mike Kafka reacted to running back Cam Skattebo's involvement in a skirmish during a Monday appearance on WWE Raw.
Kafka confirmed that he knew Giants players were going to show up at the event and participate in a "staged brawl," according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
"I trust Skatt," he added, per Raanan.

Skattebo initially drew some criticism for his actions, as he's currently recovering from a season-ending ankle injury.
The rookie fired back at critics in a Tuesday post on X.
"Aye, honestly if you don't like that I'm having a good time while dealing with a tough time, then just go ahead and unfollow and casually move on," Skattebo wrote. "I'm not able to play football and have the fun I've been having my whole life so I am doing things outside the box trying to find stuff to keep me happy. Enjoy the rest of y'all's week and just don't talk about me if you ain't got nothing nice to say."
While it's understandable that there may be some concern regarding Skattebo's activity level as he rehabs his ankle, it's worth noting that his actions within the altercation only consisted of a shove to WWE Superstar JD McDonagh.
Although Skattebo's rookie season came to an early end, he showed more than enough promise to be considered a building block of New York's offense moving forward.
The 2025 fourth-round pick rushed for 410 yards and five touchdowns in eight games, which included five starts. Skattebo also factored into the Giants' passing attack, hauling in 24 receptions for 207 yards and two scores.
He routinely showcased his ability to fight through tackles and pick up extra yards, amassing 192 yards after contact on the ground.
The Giants currently sit at 2-9 this season, with Kafka taking over at head coach after Brian Daboll was fired on Nov. 10.
