Dak Prescott Says Cowboys 'Have to Go on a Run' Amid NFL Playoff Bracket Picture
The Dallas Cowboys have some work to do if they want to contend for a playoff spot this season, but star quarterback Dak Prescott feels that the team is up for the challenge.
After the Cowboys improved to 4-5-1 with a 33-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night, Prescott laid out the road map for Dallas to make it back to the postseason after falling short in 2024.
"S--t, we want to make the playoffs? We got to go beat some playoff teams," Prescott said, per The Athletic's Michael Silver. "And it's not 'one game at a time.' We don't have that luxury. We've got to think of the whole thing. We have to go on a run. And we're going to do it together."

Prescott had a stellar outing in Monday's matchup, completing 25 of his 33 passes for 268 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions.
The Cowboys currently rank 10th in the NFC, so they will need to continue building on the momentum of Monday night's win if they want to move up the standings. However, Dallas' next six games are all against teams that made the playoffs last season, starting with a rivalry matchup against the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
"We've got a hell of a road ahead of us," Prescott said. "And I think that's the best part of it — we ain't got no bulls--t ahead, where we can lose focus. Like, hell no, we can't lose focus — not for a second, not for a day, not for a moment of the training."
