After Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys' huge 33-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night, their playoff hopes got a much-needed boost.
The road victory improved Dallas to 4-5-1, keeping them in second place in the NFC East as they continue trying to climb the NFC standings for a potential wild card spot. According to the NFL's playoff machine, the Cowboys now have a seven percent chance to make the playoffs with the win — compared to just a one percent chance had they lost.
Prescott threw for 268 yards and four touchdowns, completing 25-of-33 passes and connecting with George Pickens for a touchdown and 144 yards, and CeeDee Lamb for another score. Jake Ferguson and Ryan Flournoy also caught touchdown passes.

Fans celebrated Prescott and Pickens' big performance as the Cowboys continue their push with seven regular-season games remaining.
Raiders quarterback Geno Smith finished with 238 yards, one touchdown and one interception, completing 27-of-42 passes. The loss dropped Las Vegas to 2-8, extending their losing streak to four straight games.
After taking a 24-9 lead and keeping the Raiders out of the end zone, the Cowboys kept their foot on the gas in the second half, adding a third-quarter touchdown, forcing a safety, and scoring another touchdown in the fourth to cruise to the win.
Dallas will look to keep its playoff hopes alive when it hosts the 8-2 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
