Bo Nix Reacts to Win vs. Chiefs, 'If You Wanna Be the Best, You Gotta Beat the Best'

The Denver Broncos made a statement with Sunday's 22-19 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, solidifying themselves as the favorites to end Kansas City's streak of nine straight AFC West titles.

After improving to 9-2 and taking a two-game lead in the division, Broncos rising star quarterback Bo Nix had a simple reaction to the victory over the Chiefs.

"If you wanna be the best, you gotta beat the best," Nix said, per The Athletic's Zak Keefer. "If you're scared, go to church."

Denver has now won eight straight games, tied with the New England Patriots for the longest active winning streak in the league. The Broncos have now beaten both of last season's Super Bowl teams, the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles and the Chiefs.

Against Kansas City, Nix led Denver down the field with a 10-play drive to set up a game-winning 35-yard field goal by Will Lutz. The Broncos are now 7-2 in one-score games this season.

Nix and the Broncos will now get to enjoy their bye week before returning to action on Nov. 30 on Sunday Night Football against the Washington Commanders (3-8).
