What is the Extent of Drake London's Knee Injury After Exiting vs. Panthers?
The Atlanta Falcons' hopes of making the playoffs are already slim, and an injury to a key player could make things even more difficult.
Star wide receiver Drake London suffered a knee injury against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The good news for the Falcons is that the injury is not believed to be "overly serious," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
However, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported on Monday that London will miss Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints because of a PCL sprain:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
London has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and the leader for the Falcons' offense this year. The fourth-year receiver has recorded 60 receptions for 810 yards and six touchdowns. He's managed to stay mostly healthy this year, but missed the team's Week 8 contest against the Miami Dolphins and dealt with a back injury and illness coming into this week's matchup against Carolina.
London isn't the only offensive starter who sustained an injury on Sunday. Penix exited the contest early because of a knee injury and did not return. The injury "is believed to have aggravated the same knee injury as earlier in the season," per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
Schefter reported on Monday that quarterback Michael Penix Jr. may have suffered a season-ending knee injury.
Head coach Raheem Morris didn't have an update on Penix's injury after the game, but he noted that the team will prepare Kirk Cousins as if he will be the starter.
"You change [the] quarterback, so you got to do what the quarterback does well, so we'll go find out what Kirk does well this week," Morris told reporters. "I'm sure he'll have some input on it and so [offensive coordinator] Zac [Robinson] and those guys will work together depending on what happens with Michael and we'll be able to figure those things out when we get closer to practice on Wednesday."
The Falcons fell to 3-7 with Sunday's loss and are likely shifting the focus toward the 2026 campaign at this point. Still, being without London or Penix would be just another blow.
