Bryce Young Makes Panthers History, Thrills NFL Fans in Panthers' OT Win vs. Falcons
Bryce Young had a record-setting day against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
The third-year quarterback threw for a career-high 448 passing yards and three touchdowns on 31-of-45 passing, setting a new Panthers franchise record for passing yards.
On top of his outstanding numbers, Young led the Panthers on a game-winning drive in overtime.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Fans applauded Young for the tremendous performance on social media.
Young discussed what breaking Cam Newton's record meant to him after the game.
"Definitely honored, I have so much respect for Cam, all that he's accomplished, the player he is," Young said. "I have so much respect for him. Hearing that is definitely an honor."
Young has shown flashes of greatness with games like Sunday's, but the 24-year-old is still trying to figure out how to be consistent in the NFL. While he was outstanding this week, it was the first time he's thrown for more than 200 yards since Week 2.
He'll look to build off of his performance this week heading into the rest of the season.
Carolina has already eclipsed its win totals from both 2023 and 2024, so there's been plenty of growth already. The next task is earning a playoff spot, something the Panthers haven't done since 2017.
If Young can keep delivering games like he did on Sunday, the postseason shouldn't be too far out of reach.
