Jets quarterback Justin Fields finished with 116 yards and two touchdowns, one through the air and one on the ground, while rushing for 67 yards and completing 15-of-26 passes.

With the home win, the Patriots improved to 8–2 and strengthened their lead in the AFC East. The Jets fell to 2–8, sitting at the bottom of the division.

Fans praised Maye and Henderson as they led the Patriots to their eighth straight win of the season.

Both teams scored on their opening possessions, but the Patriots found the end zone again before halftime to take a 14–7 lead.

New England stayed in front entering the fourth quarter, as both teams added touchdowns on their final drives of the third, extending the Patriots' lead to 21–14.

Two field goals in the fourth pushed the Patriots further ahead, and a forced Jets fumble sealed the momentum as New England cruised to a 27–14 victory.

The Patriots will hit the road to face the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday.
