Crow-Armstrong is coming off a breakout 2025 season in which he received the first All-Star nod of his career, while Carroll wrapped up a 2025 campaign that earned him his second All-Star selection in three years.
The Cubs center fielder excelled both offensively and defensively last season, finishing with 31 home runs and 37 doubles to go along with 95 RBI. Crow-Armstrong also racked up 35 stolen bases, hitting .247 with a .768 OPS.
He recorded 15 defensive runs saved, tied for the most among all National League outfielders (via FanGraphs). Crow-Armstrong won his first career Gold Glove Award.
As for Carroll, he previously expressed his desire to play for the United States during the WBC.
"If I get asked, I'd love to play," Carroll said in July, per Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. "That's something that I'd love to do."
"Just the chance to represent the U.S. would be just one of the biggest honors you could have as a baseball player, honestly," he added. "I haven't been asked, and nothing is in the works. It's more that if I were to get asked, I'd love to do it."
Carroll showcased his speed once again in 2025, amassing 32 stolen bases to go along with a league-leading 17 triples.
He also hit 31 home runs and 84 RBI while compiling a .259/.343/.541 slash line.
Team USA's outfield is imposing, as New York Yankees star Aaron Judge was already named the U.S. captain.
The United States will be looking to avenge its finish in the 2023 WBC, narrowly falling to Team Japan in the championship game.
