Eagles' Big Dom Reportedly Facilitated 'Very Good' A.J. Brown, Jeffrey Lurie Talk

Scott PolacekNov 13, 2025

A.J. Brown's satisfaction, or lack thereof, when it comes to the offense has been a major talking point surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles this season, and he reportedly came together to discuss things with team owner Jeffrey Lurie on Thursday.

John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia reported Dom DiSandro, who is better known as Big Dom and the Eagles' senior advisor to the general manager and chief security officer, brought Brown and Lurie together for what looked to be "a very good conversation about A.J.'s frustration" and everyone wanting improvement from the offense.

The situation reached a point Tuesday that the wide receiver said on a live stream that this season has been a "s--t show."

He also didn't apologize for his comments Wednesday but did stress he isn't as frustrated with his lack of individual production as he is the offense's inconsistency as a whole.

"It's not just solely about my situation," he told reporters. "Obviously, I want to win too. I think if we're really focused on winning and doing our job, we can't just keep snapping the band-aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble.

"At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense? … That's what I'm getting at. It's not about I don't care about winning, all I care about is stats. No. It's been week after week sometimes we're not contributing and doing our job on offense."

He was asked about his feelings after he also suggested on the live stream that fantasy football managers should get him off their teams and the only football highlights he has enjoyed this season have come courtesy of the Madden video game.

Brown had just two catches for 13 yards in Monday's 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers, which was the fourth time in 2025 he did not reach the 30-yard mark in a game.

But the overall offense as a whole also struggled, which put the onus on the defense to win the game. The defense did just that, but it is asking a lot of that unit to perform like that against other top NFC contenders throughout the campaign.

Brown, who finished with more than 1,000 yards in five of the last six years, recognized that in his comments.

The Eagles are still 7-2 on the season and on cruise control in an NFC East that doesn't have a single other team with more than three wins. But their goal is another Lombardi Trophy, and the offense will have to be much better than it was Monday to achieve that.

From all indications during Thursday's practice, Brown and Lurie are on the same page about that.
