Audi F1 Reveals Photos of Livery Concept Ahead of Debut Season in 2026

Audi offered a glimpse into what it's bringing to a Formula One track in 2026.

The automaker unveiled its livery concept Wednesday at an event in Munich. The colors were described as "titanium, carbon black and Audi red," and Audi's iconic four-ringed logo is featured throughout.

Audi CEO Gernot Dollner laid out his lofty ambitions for the company's foray into F1. He said this move "will be a catalyst for the change towards a leaner, faster and more innovative Audi."

Dollner set a tentative timeline for Audi to claim its first Formula One title as well.

"We are not entering Formula 1 just to be there. We want to win," he said. "At the same time, we know that you don't become a top team in Formula 1 overnight.  It takes time, perseverance and tireless questioning of the status quo. By 2030, we want to fight for the World Championship title."

This was years in the making, with Audi announcing in 2022 its intention to replace Sauber on the Formula One circuit.

Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg will be driving under the Audi banner during the team's inaugural campaign. Jonathan Wheatley will likewise continue his team principal duties after the changeover.
