Will Matt LaFleur Give Up Play-Calling? Packers HC Discusses Possibility Amid Skid
Despite losing back-to-back games for the first time this season, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is not ready to make a major change just yet.
While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, LaFleur denied the notion that he'd give up his offensive play-calling duties for the Packers this season.
After a 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 9, the Packers struggled once again in their 10-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. The loss dropped Green Bay's record to 5-3-1, which ranks seventh in the NFC. The team had the best record in the conference before its loss to Carolina.

New Report on Colts-Richardson Situation
LaFleur has been known as an offensive guru throughout his tenure as Packers head coach, but the unit has sputtered with back-to-back weeks of 13 points or less. In Green Bay's previous seven games, the team topped the 20-point mark six times.
Following Monday's loss, LaFleur was asked if he feels he needs to coach to save his job over the remainder of the season, and he said he's not worrying about his job security while he focuses on trying to get the Packers to the playoffs.
"I'll leave that for everybody else to decide," LaFleur told reporters. "I'll just focus on the day-to-day and try to do -- I feel like you're always coaching for everything in this league, you know? That's just my mindset. It's always been that way. You can't ever exhale. You gotta always be pushing. That's just my mindset and that will be my mindset 'til they tell me not to coach anymore."
LaFleur and the Packers will have a good chance to end their skid on Sunday when they meet the New York Giants, who fired head coach Brian Daboll earlier this week after falling to 2-8 this season.
