Caitlin Clark's Top Highlights, Videos, Photos from The Annika LPGA Pro-Am
For the second fall in a row, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark's offseason included a stop at Pelican Golf Club for the Annika Pro-Am.
Nike made sure Clark was decked out for the occasion. She wore the trademark swoosh from head to toe, and her sweater included her signature logo on the left sleeve. A matching bag brought the entire look together:
The Fever's representation went beyond the 2024 Rookie of the Year. Indiana guards Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull were selected as honorary caddies. Whether Cunningham actually provided any helpful advice on the bag is another matter:
Clark approached the first tee at 8:30 a.m. ET. Like anybody with an early morning tee time, especially in fall conditions, she understood the value of having a mulligan to start out.
The two-time All-Star picked up golf at a young age and has maintained the hobby while excelling on the hardwood. She boasts a smooth swing and got a hold of one with her drive on No. 10:
Clark's short game is nothing to scoff at, either. She sank one long putt from the fringe:
Tournament organizers, meanwhile, reaped the benefits of the 23-year-old's presence. A large gallery followed her group from hole to hole.
Clark isn't quitting her day job anytime soon, and the WNBA's summer schedule overlaps with a lot of the tentpole events on the LPGA calendar.
Still, the overall attention paid to the Annika for the last two years is a testament to how much her popularity can provide a momentary lift to women's golf.
